New Delhi [India], July 31: On July 27, 2025, the tranquil Ranganayaka Sagar in Siddipet District turned into a hub of health, unity, and togetherness as the 3rd edition of the Siddipet Half Marathon took place. Organized by the Siddipet Runners Association in partnership with Telangana Police and the dynamic Be Better Ideas, the day became a remarkable celebration of fitness and community bonding. Centered around the theme “Celebration of Health, Unity & Community,” the marathon welcomed participants from all walks of life, fostering a vibrant sense of inclusivity. The event highlighted not just physical fitness but also the essential role of community in building a healthier society.
The race featured categories of 5K, 10K, and the Half Marathon (21.1K), ensuring options for both first-time runners and seasoned athletes. As competitors geared up at the starting line, excitement and anticipation filled the air.
Inspiring Winners Across Categories –
The Siddipet Half Marathon 2025 saw runners competing with passion. In the 10K category, the men’s winners were led by Harish Mullu with a time of 0:37:36, followed by Surender at 0:38:03 and Vijay Bombay at 0:44:39. Among women, K Swapna finished first in 0:46:16, trailed by Samreen Shaik at 0:49:36 and Payam Usharani in 0:52:33.
The 10K age-group contests delivered thrilling results: In the men’s 41-50 division, K Sammaiah claimed first in 0:56:15, with Srinivas Bandari (1:01:57) and Saireddy Venkanna (1:03:12) close behind. In the men’s 51-60 division, Satyanarayana KV topped in 1:01:59, followed by Ganesh Yalamanchi (1:03:27) and Chennoju Sathaiah (1:08:31).
In the half marathon (21.1K), the fastest male finishers were led by Divyansh Tomar with 1:13:43, with Ramavath Ramesh Chandra (1:17:25) and Linganna Manchikanti (1:17:50) in second and third. On the women’s side, Uma M won in 1:42:29, followed by Sunima Dila (1:49:23) and Jayasree Vanama (1:51:16).
Age-group achievements in the 21.1K category were equally inspiring: For men 41-50, N S Rama Raju Datla came first in 1:25:10, followed by Chinna Ramaiah (1:28:38) and Ganesh Sahoo (1:34:47). In the 51-60 group, Srivatsan Sampathkumar led in 1:46:20, ahead of JP Prakash (1:55:15) and Pullaiah Siripurapu (1:57:32). In the 60+ men’s division, Pradeep Parida completed in 2:22:50. For women, the 45-55 division was won by Kshirasagara Ramasmita in 2:03:48, with Gayathri Devi Muriki (2:56:37) second. In the 55+ women’s category, Jagadeeswari Garikapati secured first in 2:31:47.
